Dayton Arcade Redesign

The Dayton Arcade is a collection of old buildings that once were used for market space, shops, and even living. Their goal is to create an affordable and welcoming space for Dayton artists and community members. However, their website was chock-full of an overwhelming amount of information with no real statement of what The Arcade even is. Because of this, it was important that the opening to this design clearly stated what The Arcade is for, what it can do, and how it can be used. I wanted to give this web page a more modern look, but I know the history of The Arcade is important to Dayton, and I made sure to include their timeline to bring a hint of that past to consumer’s screens.
